Ignorance of feasibility & benefits. Absence of supportive and sustainable policies.
Weak management of existing facilities. Adverse impact of power sector reforms.
Lack of expertise for optimum configuration. Large number & diversity of stakeholders.
Inadequate vision for future energy issues. Non congruent attitudes & mindsets.
Poor financial health of State Electricity Boards.    
 

Based on the response & feedback received on the OTPs, now, Cogen India plans to organize need based  training programs in specific skill areas essential for sugar factory / cogen power plant operators & management / engineering staff.
